MissionThe Crossfire Foundation is a
Christ-based organization dedicated
to empowering women, children and
families caught in the world’s crossfire
to lift themselves out of poverty,
persecution and degradation through
educational and spiritual programming
and community connection.
FocusWe bring the Light and Hope of Christ
to women, children and families in
need, planting seeds of change through
education, and nurturing that change
through spiritual growth and faith.
Crossfire works in some of the most
impoverished regions of the world where
many are persecuted and marginalized
because of their faith and culture.
Crossfire teams up with individuals, churches
and other faith-based non-profit organizations
to work in at-risk communities, where many are
impacted by poverty, homelessness and addiction.
Enlighten Learning Center Model
Through scholarly research and years of practical experience, we found that before women in
marginalized communities can contemplate positive change for themselves, their families and
communities, the following basic needs must be addressed.
The Enlighten Learning Center Model consists of two distinct
programs that address these needs head on.
Project Sparkle
Early Learning Program
We plant seeds of change in each community,
offering its youngest members the educational
and spiritual foundation they need to
help them succeed in school and life. This
preschool and kindergarten program provides
early enrichment and education to prepare
students to matriculate and excel in their
local elementary schools.
Everything is provided for the children,
including school supplies and a healthy meal
each day, something that may be a struggle
for their parents to provide at home.
Skill and Personal Development
Program for Women
Bi-weekly meetings enable mothers of
Project Sparkle students to come together
with teachers and staff to discuss the education
of their children. At the same time, these
meetings also present an opportunity to
provide women with an understanding
of who God created them to be.
They also provide an opportunity for
women to receive basic skill training with
special curriculums in health, language and
business — all things that can lead to
income generation. In addition, these gatherings
foster personal and spiritual growth that
can create positive change throughout
entire communities for future generations.
We work alongside our church partners
to provide support for their community
programs. We also offer our U.S.-focused
Journey program to our partners and
their constituencies.
Journey Program: This multi-level program
helps Christian women find their
purpose under God, preparing them to
work as a Light in the World, as they
spiritually connect with each other to share
the love and liberation of Christ. The
Journey program process also provides
an opportunity to serve locally, nationally
and internationally, by walking alongside
vulnerable women and children in the U.S.
and around the globe.
Working in some of the world’s toughest places, our teams on the ground
need your help, as do the women, children and families caught in the
crossfire. Your prayers, support and donations are a source of courage,
hope and strength. They enable our hands-on educational and spiritual
programming to take root, lifting up communities and bringing the Light
and Hope of Christ to the people who need it most.

Anne, founder of the Crossfire Foundation, also founded several other national and international non-profits. Anne’s decades of work on social injustice began with a focus on runaway children and further developed to include co-authoring Crossfire’s proven Christian-based programming to meet the educational, economic and spiritual needs of women and children worldwide.
Member
A missionary since the age of 15, Abbey is also an elementary level special education teacher. She has helped implement pre-primary programs internationally, preparing faith-based, early learning curriculums for children living in some of the most impoverished regions of the world. Abbey has a Bachelor of Science degree from St. Louis University, and a Master’s degree in Special Education from the University of Northern Colorado.
Treasurer
With her background in nursing, Lee has taught health programs internationally. She has visited several countries as a missionary, opening health programs and procuring much needed medicine and supplies for vulnerable communities. Lee is also an artist and has painted numerous murals in Crossfire’s pre-primary classrooms.

A missionary for more than 20 years, Alice has visited numerous countries worldwide, helping those most in need through prayer, hope and faith. She has helped start several churches and leads the Crossfire Prayer Warriors. She is also a Prayer Walker for Crossfire’s in-country teams. Alice received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Chair
A non-profit consultant and accountant, Kris has more than 30-years of experience in small business bookkeeping, as well as more than 20 years of experience in non-profit management. She has worked with many different Christian organizations over the past several years, and is an experienced missionary, having shared her skills and expertise with vulnerable women and children in Armenia.
Member
An attorney, Rori brings her knowledge of the law and business strategy to Crossfire. She has sat on faith-based, non-profit boards and is an experienced missionary, having traveled to Romania to work with the Roma gypsy population.
Member
Rosalie brings her more than 25 years of experience working with non-profit boards to the Crossfire Foundation, as well as her expertise in social media marketing. As a missionary, she has traveled to many countries, including Romania, France and Zimbabwe.

With a 30-year career in the oil and gas industry, Cory brings a true organizational business perspective to Crossfire. Her experience in faith-based non-profits includes serving on the board of directors.
